Well do I know how dogs love corn on the cob. But did you know that the
cobs kill? They get stuck in the gut and create a blockage and absorb
toxins. Many dogs have not survived. Emergency surgery saved Boomer when
he was about seven months old after he stole a cob from the hens. We
insisted that the vet do the surgery the day a blockage became obvious.
Others who have waited have lost their dogs, not necessarily to the blockage
but to the toxins.
