gharris999 said the following on 23/10/2005 04:26: Is it posible that Robin could rename his archive cues to something like FancyMusicTitleFileName.cue.not ?? That's how I get slimserver to skip stuff. My current workround is: # cd /home/slimserver/music/library # find . \( -iname *.cue -o -iname *.m3u \) -exec chmod 000 \{\} \; That is, find all .cue and .m3u files in my music directory and remove all permissions. Re: [SlimDevices: Beta] Blank album names appearing in latest trunk
Updated this morning and Album tagging still appears to be broken. I think it's something to do with the No Album tag - I don't think I've got any now. Instead they are coming up as multiple blank entries. Phil ___ beta mailing list beta@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta

Hi Dan, Do you have any 3rd party plugins installed? Yes, I indeed have some 3rd party plugins installed. Operation `': no method found, argument in overloaded package Class::DBI::Object::Has::Been::Deleted at P:/Music/SlimServer/trunk/server/Slim/Music/Info.pm line 1591. Any clues on how you made this happen? I think this is the whole story: I was playing Random Songs. A song came on that I didn't like anymore. I was about to do an SVN update and needed to do a rescan, so I pressed stop and deleted the file on disk. I then closed the browser, stopped SlimServer, did an SVN update, restarted SlimServer, and I think it instantly crashed - presumably because the current track didn't physically exist anymore. [SlimDevices: Beta] Re: Version: 6.2b2 - Problems searching for albums containing various artists
Thanks Dan. Good news is I have used iTunes to set the Compilation tag on all my MP3 Various Artist albums and it has worked perfectly. Just one final problem. I also have some FLAC Various Artist albums, but iTunes does not appear to read FLAC files. Do you know of any utility that will allow me to set a Compilation tag on these FLAC files, or will I have to manually move all the tracks by cutting and pasting? Many thanks once again.
