It's a bit slow, so I wouldn't want to drag an item from the top of a big playlist to the bottom, but for short playlists it's adequate. When I tried that it would scroll to the top of page 3 and then stop. There was no way of getting to page 2. My music server's hard disk is dead at the moment so I can't try it. I thought you meant dragging from one visible screen-worth of items to the previous/next screen-worth within the page. I guess there is no way to move items from one page to the next. SqueezeCenter web UI is still poor for editing/maintaining music collections/playlists (but great for viewing!). [SlimDevices: Beta] Main Menu Size Problem
I have a small aesthetic bug in 7,0 (see attached screenshot) When I first start the SqueezeServer Web Browser the Menu is shortened. Scroll bar works and everything is there but it should go to the bottom of the screen. Refreshing the page corrects it and it is not encountered again until I close the browser and reopen. But it's not always reproduceable, rather random. We haven't found a solution yet how to fix this. With last 17793 there are after a new scan no artists. I've also been noticing this more often recently as well. I always have at least one player connected so that theory doesn't seem to be holding up very well - at least for this case. Sorry. [SlimDevices: Beta] Loosing settings when going from beta to GA
I've been tracking when SC resets to default album sort order and artwork because of some historical issues with it. It has been stable throughout the later versions in beta. However, when going to one of the last beta versions to the GA version it DID loose both the album order and size settings. I'm figuring that this is most likely cause by some sort of release numbering change from beta to GA, but just in case I'm mentioning it here. If it really shouldn't have done that then let me know and I will file an issue. This is from a computer (Windows XP, running IE7) where SC is installed and I ONLY go into SC when I install a new version, etc. I last installed beta on the 23rd, installed GA today. 2/23/18 - installed nightly. Checked artwork/sort - OK. Scrollbars in the default skin of 7.01 are producing menus which are too small when space is not an issue. This is occuring throughout the settings. I think there may be a bug. It seems that the drag and drop works when there is artwork, but not for the albums that don't have cover art. Can someone else confirm this? Edit: Actually, now I'm not sure what the bug is. At any rate, the behavior is not consistent. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. Could it be that I'm using Opera, and that is the problem? OK, I'll do some additional testing - I guess I was being too optimistic... [SlimDevices: Beta] Switching last.fm account dosen't
I have multiple last.fm accounts. When I switch from one to another (using either my SB or web settings) it does not scrobble to the newly selected account. It also dosen't stop scrobbling if I choose that option. The only way I can get it to commit to the change is by restarting the server. I have set the logs for plugin.audioscrobbler to debug. The log shows 'handler' changing accounts and does not show any errors. I don't see 'handshake' happening as it does when the server boots up. Not sure if that's a clue or not. After tonight's autoscan, slimserver now says 1234 albums and 9811 songs, but sill 0 artists.
