[SlimDevices: Beta] Today's SC 7.3 build Web UI broken
I just finished installing SC 7.3 and the Web UI won't load either with IE7 or IE8 Beta. There are no errors in the server log. There is also something wrong with the Now Playing Screen when using Slacker in today's 7.2.1 and 7.3 build. The Now Playing screen gets stuck in the first track played from Slacker. In today's 7.2.1 build the Web UI works fine and I was able to test the new option not to scrobble Internet Radio stations. No errors in the bottom left of the browser. I forgot that I had gone backwards to 7.2.1 because earlier today there was no 7.3 build. I reinstalled 7.3 after clearing the server cache and I can now get access via the Web UI. But... I still have some issues with Music Services. I now get a message when I try to access last.fm My Recommendations saying that I must select a last.fm account for use on this player. When I check the Player settings my last.fm id is there. I also experienced some strange Web UI behavior when I try to access last.fm subsequent times. Look of the fisrt attached pic there are a few repeated options in the bottom of the player panel. Also several times the player panel stays in the "loading" state. See second pic. I never use this feature, so I haven't noticed this phenomena before: With Settings->Music Library->Compilations->Group compilation albums together ... I find that my SBC can't browse into many of my genres. Of course, the SBC gives up long before these queries return and needs to be power-cycled before it can connect to SC again. My friend Gary up in Montreal noticed this first and brought it to my attention. One thing that my be unique about our libraries is that we have a fair number of cuesheet embedded flacs which are not only multi-artist, but multi-genre too. I haven't verified yet if this is the determining factor, though. I am NOT seeing this when browsing using the web UI. Does anyone know if this is a known bug?
