Most installs have a "custom" and "express" install modes. I'd suggest that model. I wouldn't mind using the script to clear my cache and logs - it would save me from using the Windows GUI. With non-standard log and cache directories, how does the script find them? There's one thing I'd like to keep - the user/cookie based preferences for thumbnails and sorting in the web interface. I cleared the cache just now, but kept cookies.dat, and still had to set thumbnail and sorting preferences in the web ui. I would hazard a guess that there are many users of SC that have never looked into music tagging standards, made changes on the settings page and rescanned. I would guess there are many users that have not upgraded to SC7, nor know that there is support for TPE2 => Album Artist.
