I seem to have missed a change, or more likely misunderstood what happened. Composers are now also 'Artists' ? I can understand from a point of view that browsing by 'All Artists' it might be sensible to include the Composer in the list, although it might be nice to exclude them if I wanted to. I've never heard of a lot of the Composers now appearing in my All Artists list. But how do I change the default 'Artist' displayed on the Now Playing screen. OK, I'm running 7.9.0 - 1400081103, but still not getting a complete scan. I don't have a library.db to delete. Running on Windows server, I had run the cleanup which removed the cache so no .db files at all. If I start LMS and run a 'clear library and rescan' it terminates unexpectedly. Did you try to update the Touch to 7.8 r16734 manually? i.e. from the Touch Advanced menu... There was a version which didn't seem to auto update, but I can't remember which one. I'm having a problem with the WHS-install, or rather the WHS-uninstall. If I uninstall from the Add-ins tab, all it does it remove the add-in. It doesn't actually remove SBS from the machine. The service is still running and nothing appears to be removed from the C: drive. I have noticed that when a Touch starts it goes to the 'Now Playing' screen. Which I think is a new default. I'd prefer it to start up on the main menu. Also, if there is no current playlist then the Touch will not switch itself on if the server reboots. Saw the same problem described a while back. My wife was playing random songs from selected genres. She would skip through the first 10 selected and it would repeat from the beginning. I changed the settings to 20, figuring she would more likely find something giving SBS more chance to add tracks. I had the same, but got round it by choosing a plugin setup from the 'Plugins' tab. But I also get the message from the 'Player' tab. This is 7.6 r31319, on IE8. On my Touch, 'App Gallery' keeps reappearing on the top menu after a reboot. [SlimDevices: Beta] Couple of 7.6 issues
First is a question rather than issue. In the 'Server Settings' web GUI, what is the purpose of the Podcasts tab? My understanding is that the App 'Podcast Player' retrieves it's setup from mysqueezebox.com. So what does this tab control? Secondly 'Information Browser', accessed via the Extras menu. On my Touch, this entry has an odd habit of 'disappearing'. It is restored with a quick reboot, but unfortunately I haven't seen a related log error. Anyone else seeing this? Not sure if this is related, but with 7.6 r9006 on Touch and SqueezePlay, I've lost most of the entries in 'My Apps' including Podcast Player. They are all present in the Server WebGUI.
