Re: [SlimDevices: Beta] MySQL supposed to work in 7.5 embedded?

Re: [SlimDevices: Beta] Search doesn't ignore umlauts anymore
Character normalization should work both ways. When searching for helene I expect to see Hélène Grimaud and Ich kenn ein kleines Wegerl im Helenental. And when searching for Motör I want see Motor Booty Affair as well as Motörhead. My last name is Lempiäinen and I am used to using Lempiainen when dealing with people outside northern Europe and Germany. I understand that people using different keyboard layouts have difficulties finding ä character. I have tagged my music with Björk Guðmundsdóttir, but to be able to write a character ð with my keyboard is too much trouble when searching. -- lemppari lemppari's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1775 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=67321 ___ beta mailing list beta@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
[SlimDevices: Beta] Search doesn't ignore umlauts anymore
In the previous version of server when performing a search with umlauts, the umlauts were dropped. Now when I search for rückertlieder I have to enter ü, previously the search worked with ruckertlieder. This is quite annoying with names with e, è and é, if you don't remember the correct hat...
