When it happened most recently, I had one set of players (synced) with a MIP-generated playlist, and another player with a different MIP-generated playlist. The single player kept its playlist, but the synced players all reverted to the previous day's playlist. It may depend on how the playlist was generated. I believe there is an open bug report about MusicIP generated mixes not getting stored and restored across a server restart. I've seen this a few times. I upgrade Squeezebox Server and when the new version starts up, some of my players are showing an older playlist from the day before--or maybe it's from the last time I updated. I have "Maintain client playlists" enabled in my settings, but it's not saving them properly on an upgrade or something.
