Try to use the browse music folder function and browse into the folders fro each album. I'm not sure if the artwork updates then but... Btw this is also a faster way to add one album to the dB if you got a new album browse to it with music folder and it will be added. The scan for new and changed does other stuff. ADDITION: Maybe this helps to locate the bug: When I put an album with "Missing" artwork in my playlist - covers are shown for every song EXCEPT the first! AND EVEN MORE INFORMATION: It has got nothing to do with the scanner - if I put a "Folder.jpg" in my folder, the artwork is to be seen as soon as I click on an album title - but ONLY from the 2nd song on and NOT in the library. I filed a bug and got the tip to do a clear rescan. Did Yesterday and all was fine again. Today I added some new albums, did an update scan - and the problem is there again, album art ist only shown for every song but the first one of an album. meanwhile I could find out "how the bug works":
- If the album cover is already added, when album is scanned ("Look for
new and updated files") for the first time.
- If the album cover is added later, when the album is already in your
database, artwork is only added for every file BUT the first.
Seems to me, the scanner works perfect if there is a new album, he
looks for artwork and adds it to the database.
BUT - if there is no new album, it ignores the new artwork
("folder.jpg") and doesn't add anything.
When You click on the album - doesn't mind if via web-interface or
controler - it is added - but NEVER to the first song (for what reaason
ever)

Problem 1. I also have an "artwork" problem with iPeng. If the artwork cover for the album was added when I imported my CD into iTunes then it appears under "albums" which I presume is the "browse" screen on my iPod Touch and the "Play" screen. However, often the artwork in iTunes is not the correct one for the CD. When I import the correct artwork into iTunes as a .jpg file from amazon.com or my own scanning it appears correctly in iTunes but not in iPeng on my iPod.The originally imported artwork cover is still there. Problem 2. I do rescan SC and "try" to "Flush the Cache" in iPeng but the latter only takes a fraction of a second and really does not seem to be working for my library of over 2200 songs. I know it does not scan the songs but nothing seems to happen. My impression is that it should take at least a few minutes. Perhaps this is the cause of the artwork not being corrected. Any advice would be appreciated.
