 Do you have items with crossrefs?
 
 The crossreffed fields should be somewhat greyed out, but this should not 
 spill over to non crossreffed values. 
 
 Somehow I have not been able to see this myself.

[Bibdesk-users] RCS $Id$ in the .BIB template

Hi,

is there a way of adding the $Id$ from (RCS) into the .BIB file generated by 
BibDesk so that the string generated by RCS survives an update?

If I put it into the template, and check the file in, the usual text appears, 
which is the desired behavior, but only if I check it in. If I forget and 
distribute anyway there is the literal $Id$ which
is an issue.

Any idea how to do that?
