Hello,
We upgraded our DNS server from bind 8.2.3 to bind 9.2.1.
named worked without any problem about 1 day. After 1 day, named process
stopped and we received following message :
named: resolver.c:4030: REQUIREquery) != 0L) (((const isc__magic_t *)(
query))-magic == ((('Q') 24 | ('!') 16 | ('!') 8 | ('!')) failed
named: exiting (due to assertion failure)
Is this assertion failure due to a compilation error, or a general bug for
9.2.1 ?
Has anybody faced with this problem ?
Thanks for your help.
Run something supported. BIND 9.2.1 was released May 2002 and is no longer
supported.
