Bioexcellence : Foundation for Biotechnology Education Research and
Training is looking for faculty positions to teach Jawahrlalal Nehru
University Combined Biotechnology Entrance Examination Preparatory
Course

For following four positions the minimum eligibility criteria in M.Sc
in respective subject area with minimum two years of teaching
experience. Teachers with experience in teaching AIPMT, MH-CET (PMT)
or similar exams will be given preference

Faculty : Physics
Faculty : Chemistry
Faculty : Biology
Faculty : Mathematic

Subject Expertise Faculty positions are open in following subjects

Faculty : Biochemistry
Faculty : Microbiology and Genetics
Faculty : Immunology and Cell Biology
Faculty : Molecular Biology and rDNA Technology
Faculty : Plant Tissue Culture and Plant Developmental Biology
Faculty : Animal Tissue Culture and Animal Developmental Biology

For above six positions, the minimum eligibility criteria is first
class M.Sc. in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Zoology,
Botany or any other branch in life sciences. NET/SET/GATE
qualification will be preferred. Faculties with multiple subject
expertise will be given preference. Although the faculty positions
require experienced people, freshers who believe can justify the role
are also encouraged to apply.

{Biofriend} Short Term Training Course (STTC) on ‘Proteomics Techniques in Biotechnology’

[Bioexcellence India]

The Department of Biotechnology, Kumaraguru College of Technology
(KCT), Coimbatore, is organizing a DBT-sponsored training courses for
teachers involved in teaching life-sciences and biotechnology for 14
days from 22 November to 4 December 2010.

The course consists of lectures by Guest Faculty from premier research
institution/university followed by a practical/hands-on training
sessions. Candidates holding regular positions in private or govt-
aided or govt colleges or university colleges are eligible to apply.

 All the applicants have to be sponsored by their own colleges/
institutions. However, 25% of the teachers from govt-aided or govt
colleges or university colleges will be paid TA as per institutional
rules.
