The Spotted Towhee is still being spotted throughout the day. Most often it has been seen under the north spruce closest to the path between the second and third row of condos. [ONTBIRDS] London Spotted Towhee
The bird continues to show up on a regular basis. To hopefully see the bird, take Killarney Road East past the roundabout right to the end of the street. You can park in the Cedarhollow School parking lot. That is where the public path begins. Walk south on the path and between the second and third row of condos you will see two feeders on the second deck. The bird feeds on the deck then quickly retreats under the spruce trees nearby. [ONTBIRDS] London Spotted Towhee update
The bird showed up quite often yesterday and has been seen today, Feb. 17. It was first seen at 11:30 and then again at 3:20. It may have fed at other times but I was away for part of the afternoon. [ONTBIRDS] Spotted Towhee, London
A Spotted Towhee has been observed at deck feeders in London. The feeders are located on private property but can be view from a public path located at the end of Killarney Road East, past the roundabout. Walking south on the path, the feeders are between the second and third row of condos visible from the path. When not on the desk feeding, it goes under the spruce trees close to the feeders. It has been seen at any time during the day.
