We checked Aylmer Wildlife Management Area at 1:30 p.m. today [May 15].
The American Avocet reported this morning was still feeding in the open
at the NE corner of the ponds.
We didn't see the Whimbrel that were reported this morning.
We did see 110+ Short-billed Dowitchers, a very large number for this
location.
Other shorebirds were 2 Dunlin and 5 Least Sandpipers.
