[Ontbirds] Great Egret - Richmond Hill
There are 2 Great Egrets in the pond / drainage system at the corner of Bantry Ave and Bayview Avenue, Richmond Hill. Bantry Avenue is located one set of lights North of High Tech Road or 2 sets of lights North of Hwy7/407 off Bayview. [Ontbirds]Great Egret, Richmond Hill
All, not a rarity but for York Region, I thought it noteworthy. There has been a Great Egret hanging out today in the pond at the corner of Yonge Street and Jefferson Sideroad in Richmond Hill. Jefferson Sdrd. is south of King Rd and north of Elgin Mills Rd. Also, last night before dusk I counted 23 Common Nighthawks and that was just from the dinner table!
