[Ontbirds] Pink-footed Goose - Casselman

2016-11-07 Thread Roy John
This goose was seen several times at the edge of the flock of Snow geese at
around 1000 this morning.

Directions: Take Hwy 417 east from Ottawa past Casselman and take exit 58. Turn
right (south) on Hwy 138. After a short distance turn right on Lafleche Rd.
The geese were feeding in the fields to the north.

[Ontbirds] Pink-footed Goose - Casselman

2015-12-15 Thread Mark Field
Hello,

The Pink-footed Goose was feeding with a flock of Snow Geese on the sod farm
north of Lafleche Road. First seen around 3:30, the flock has flushed twice. We
refound it the first time, and left after the second. It should still be
present.

Directions: The bird is north of Lafleche Rd which is west of Hwy 138. Hwy 138
is east of Casselman off Hwy 417.

Cheers,

Mark Field
