[Ontbirds] Fox Sparrow in St. Catharines
Hello All, For those interested, my wife and I observed Fox Sparrow, for the third year in a row, on the Green Ribbon Trail in St. Catharines this afternoon (4/05) at 3:30 PM. We observed 1 Fox Sparrow on the trail, north of the pedestrian bridge. Bob Highcock and Jean Hampson Directions: From the intersection of Fourth Avenue and Martindale Road in St. Catharines, travel north along Martindale Road. Hello All, My wife and I observed two Fox Sparrows on the Green Ribbon Trail this evening (April 7) at 7:15 PM. A week earlier than last year. In addition, there were a pair of Belted Kingfishers in the area where the Martindale Rd bridge crosses the pond and a pair of Wood Ducks were observed in a tree just west of the parking area.
