Birding was generally light today, but there were a few interesting new arrivals. The best bird of the day was a WORM-EATING WARBLER seen at close range at the Fish Point parking lot. Other interesting birds included an early BLACK-BILLED CUCKOO, NORHTERN PARULA, BROAD-WINGED HAWK, and RED-HEADED WOODPECKER. Yesterday morning there was a light reverse migration off the south tip of Fish Point.
