Hello Birders,
One lone European Goldfinch was at my Northwest, table, window
feeder...Sunday afternoon @2:25 pm.
Weather was sunny and +3C
I spotted him as I drove up in the car and as I snuck back around the side
of the house he flew off. I watched him fly away hoping he would land in the
stand of trees in the creek across the road , but alas he flew over and
beyond. I told my husband I should have gone into the house thru the side
porch and crawled toward the window from the inside and taken a picture thru
the windowbut I didn't expect him to be so skittish.
I notified all the other people in town feeding birds but haven't heard
anythin yet.( our town population is 80)

This is the second report of a EGFI in less than 18 months and about one
hour distance from me.
I believe Lorne in Kenabeek got a picture of his.

Cheers Gert Trudel
Gowganda On.
