5,000 SNOW BUNTINGS & HORNED LARKS by Newcastle

Wow!  I have never seen that many SNOW BUNTINGS & HORNED LARKS, i.e. 5,000
of them in one stretch along the west side of Durham Regional Rd. # 42
between Highway # 2 and Concession Rd. 3 north west of Newcastle.

Directions:  Take Highway 115/35 exit north from Highway # 401, turn west on
Highway # 2 up to the second road to the north.

Hello Birders,

2 HORNED LARKS  on the side of Concession Rd. # 4 west of Highway # 115/35
north west of Newcastle.

The regulars at my feeders:  NORTHERN CARDINALS (6), CAROLINA WREN (1),
HOUSE FINCHES (25), GOLD FINCHES (2), BLUE JAYS (6), DOWNY, HAIRY & RED
BELLIED WOODPECKERS (1 of each),  SLATE COLORED & BLACK EYED JUNCOS (14),
MOURNING DOVES (12) at 590 Mill St. S. of Newcastle.

Directions:  Take Highway # 401 to Mill St. S. exit towards the lake.
