Actually, this is fixed in the CVS version of bbkeys. Thanks to Sergey
Vlasov for the original bug report and fix patch. =:)

All who care, please pull down the CVS version of bbkeys and give this a
try. (http://movingparts.net/bbkeys.shtml has the link for how to get
CVS access)

It twas I!

Unfortunately, I haven't touched the source yet. I am in the middle of
exams and figured my grades had suffered enough from late night coding
sessions. However, I have a few things on the TODO and should be able
to do them after today. There are still some glaring bugs, as well as
many things to clean up. If you have any development experience
(either C or C++) and a little bit of time, I can contact you off list
with them. :)

Open the source and look for the Atom they use to find the pixmap. If aterm
COULD be working because it falls back to setting its background to be
ParentRelative which attempts to load the Parent's pixmap.

Who was working on the Epistrophy program?

2001-12-20 Thread David Caplan

was wondering if the Epistrophy author has made any updates to the
code, so that i can have some more fun :)

So, whoever you are, please respond..

[OT ?] bb and xchat

2001-12-20 Thread Michael Hostbaek

Hi,

I am running BB and setting my background wih bsetbg (and it works fine)
- I have transparency in my aterm's without any problems... However, I'd
like to enable transparency in xchat as well.. I am searched around, and
contacted xchat authors, without success, though..
So I was kinda hoping, one of you guys have had the same problem.. ?

When I try to enable the trans. in xchat, I get the following error:
"Unable to get root window pixmap!" - "You may need to use Esetroot or
Gnome control-center to set your background."

Any help would be much appriciated !

Thanks.

2001-12-20 Thread Tim Riley

Hi folks,

A friend of mine has a little problem with bbkeys - he has written about
it below. Any help would be most appreciated.

b0rp4!

Here it is:
When cycling though windows everything seems to go alright until I get go of
the modifier key (Mod4). With Mod4 (in my case, the evil Windoze key), the
popup that displays the currently selected window that is being focused will
not "drop". It stays locked in focus and I have to press ENTER to give focus
to the window. If I use Mod1 (ALT in my case) it works fine. Any ideas? It
worked fine while I was stuck with Sawfish.

Blackbox: 0.61.2-pre6
BBKeys : 0.8.3
XFree : 4.10.0
Distro : RH7.2

- End forwarded message -

Thanks,

Tim Riley
