[blfs-support] info for building LibreOffice 3.6.0.2

2012-07-25 Thread tony lemaire

hello,

i have building libreoffice 3.6.0.2, but there is a new dependency required for
: valgrind.
But building valgrind in lastest version (3.7.0) doesn't work; because glibc
2.15 and 2.16 are not support.

For building valgrind with glibc-2.15 (or 2.16), you need to download the svn
version of valgrind with :
svn co svn://svn.valgrind.org/valgrind/trunk valgrind and use :

./autogen.sh
./configure --prefix=/usr
make
make install

After that, you can building libreoffice 3.6.0.2 correctly.

I hope this will useful for someone.

Regards,
Tony

I have the /usr/lib/pkgconfig/libusb-1.0.pc too.
For /usr/lib/libGL.so, i have reinstall mesalib and it works !!!
Maybe libGL.so was corrupt ???

Now kde-workspace had make and install successful,

I want to give a big thanks to the community, with a special thanks to Bruce,
Ken and Ragnar for their help to solve my problems.

Uh sorry Ken, but I use LFS, but true that I do not use UTF-8 but ISO-8859-1
(latin1). There is that when I used the chroot, I use a live Fedora 17 as host.

@ Bruce : i have the file /usr/lib/libusb-1.0.so for libusb-1.0.

I'll try to install more optionnal packages for KDE-WORKSPACE 4.8.4, maybe one
of them will install the necessary for /usr/lib/libGL.so

[blfs-support] KDE-WORKSPACE 4.8.4 make error

2012-07-07 Thread tony lemaire

Hello everybody,

I'm trying to build the KDE desktop in 4.8.4 version, not the 4.8.3 like BLFS.
Last week, i had some problems with KDELIBS 4.8.4, but i've solved it.

Now, I'm trying to compile the kde-workspace 4.8.4, but I have an error during
the make command. Here is the output :

I have the line set(POLKITQT-1_INSTALL_DIR "") what i change for
set(POLKITQT-1_INSTALL_DIR "/usr") and now cmake is OK.

I don't know if it's a real solution but it works for me. I'm running make.
I'll tell you when make will finish.

But i'm installing KDE in /usr, so i just use the command "export
KDE4_PREFIX=/usr".
Maybe i should install KDE in /opt ???

I have reinstall polkit and polkit-Qt, but i have the same error.

Thanks for your response. I don't use the -jX option to make. I'll look for the
bruce's suggestion :

You should have a line earlier:

llvm[1]: Linking Release Shared Library libLLVMTableGen.so
make[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/llvm/llvm-3.0.src/lib/TableGen'

Did you get that?

-- Bruce

I'll tell you later if i have directory `/tmp/llvm/llvm-3.0.src/lib/TableGen'

You should have a line earlier:

llvm[1]: Linking Release Shared Library libLLVMTableGen.so
make[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/llvm/llvm-3.0.src/lib/TableGen'

Did you get that?

I'll tell you later if i have directory `/tmp/llvm/llvm-3.0.src/lib/TableGen'

[blfs-support] Error building llvm-3.0

2012-02-05 Thread tony lemaire

Hello everybody,

I have successfully build my own LFS system (SVN-20120122) and now, i continue
with the BLF book.
I currently try to implement the X Windows System Environnement (chapter 24),
but i failled.

I'm at the step where I must build MesaLib-7.11.2 with it's dependencies called
LLVM-3.0.

When i'm compiling LLVM-3.0, i've got this error :

llvm[2]: === Finished Linking Release Executable not (without symbols)
make[2]: Leaving directory `/sources/llvm-3.0.src/utils/not'
make[2]: Entering directory `/sources/llvm-3.0.src/utils/unittest'
make[3]: Entering directory `/sources/llvm-3.0.src/utils/unittest/googletest'

llvm[3]: Compiling TestMain.cpp for Release build (PIC)
llvm[3]: Linking Release Shared Library libUnitTestMain.so
make[3]: Leaving directory `/sources/llvm-3.0.src/utils/unittest/UnitTestMain'
make[2]: Leaving directory `/sources/llvm-3.0.src/utils/unittest'
make[1]: Leaving directory `/sources/llvm-3.0.src/utils'
make[1]: Entering directory `/sources/llvm-3.0.src/lib/VMCore'
llvm[1]: Building Intrinsics.gen.tmp from Intrinsics.td
/sources/llvm-3.0.src/Release/bin/llvm-tblgen: error while loading shared
libraries: libLLVMTableGen.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory
make[1]: *** [/sources/llvm-3.0.src/lib/VMCore/Release/Intrinsics.gen.tmp]
Error 127
make[1]: Leaving directory `/sources/llvm-3.0.src/lib/VMCore'
make: *** [all] Error 1
root [ /sources/llvm-3.0.src ]#

For your information, all packages which i've compiled before LLVM-3.0 have
successfully compiled.

I didn't find any solution in the web, or i hope to find a solution with the
LFS/BLFS community.

If somebody have any solution or idea, it'll be nice to explain me what can i
do.

Best regards,

Tony
