Re: [Blind-Computing] Turning off narator when booting up?
Hi Chris, I believe what Carliss is looking for is a setting to keep Narrator from loading at startup. The suggestion you gave works well,, after Windows has already booted, and Narrator is already speaking. Also, if I'm not mistaken this is for Vista. Yes it is preferable at least in my opinion to use an email address separate from your ISP. That way if you ever change or relocate your email address will not change. It's been well over a year since I moved everything away from that particular address. O yeah that's why I use my tool for OE to do that verything. it seperates all the people I put in the to field in to separate messages. I can see them in my outbox that way nobody knows who else I'm sending it to.. Actually, I think it's proper manners, or etiquette, to send the same message separately to more than one list instead of sehdning it to multiple lists at the same time. What do you all think? Alt tab to the Narrator Window and press x to activate the exit button. If prompted, press y and Narrator will quit and stay quit until you manually re-launch it. Hope that helps.
