Re: [Blind-Computing] DeskTop Question
Just move them from the My Pictures folder. There is a hack, but it involves the registry, so just do the simplest of tasks for now. Windows by default looks in the my pictures folder for any pictures, and will offer them as backgrounds for your desktop. [Blind-Computing] Bookport
Hi folks, Part of my job requires that I monitor recorded phone calls. These calls are converted into an MP3 format and given to me on a CD. For some time now I have been using Winamp on my laptop to read the CD's. I would like to get away using my laptop as the world's most expensive MP3 player and thought that Bookport might be a good alternative. My question to the group is, will bookport provide me with elapsed time and time remaining? This would be the same information that Winamp provides by pressing alt+shift+T and CTRL+shift+T respectively. This feature is absolutely necessary to my job requirements When I spoke to the heroes at APH they weren't sure and weren't willing to look. Hi there, Victor Reader Stream is the newest book player from HumanWare (producers of Victor Reader family of book players). This is the size of a small PDA with an SD card slot. This player reads DAISY books and it's slated to play Audible, NLS cartridge books and RFBD books. HumanWare is investigating possibility of supporting reading of BRF braille files that are found on NLS/Web Braille as well as some books on Bookshare website. Hi there, Press Windows key plus r, type cleanmgr then press ENTER. This is the fastest way to open Disk Cleanup. Note: if you have Vista, you can accomplish this by going to Start Search, type cl for Cleanup, then press ENTER; you should then press f for (All Users' files. UAC should appear (if you've turned it on) where you have to press Alt plus c to continue. This procedure does not apply to older Windows.
