Re: [Blind-Computing] using ubuntu and ubuntu accessibility

2007-11-22 Thread Chris Hallsworth
Hi, all I know about Ubuntu is that it comes with a screen reader called
Orka. So in a way I guess Ubuntu is accessible thanks to this screen reader.
Sorry I couldn't be of any more help, but I never used that flavour of Linux
before.

hi everyone,

i'm planning to install Ubuntu onto one of my machines at home, and I want to

Re: [Blind-Computing] Inter Video Win DVD Question

2007-11-22 Thread Bob J.
Donnie,

I don't know exactly where you are when you are seeing three WinDVD programs
but you might be looking at three shortcuts to the same program.

As for the volume control--try holding down the shift key while hitting the
up-arrow or down-arrow keys. Be aware that the response to those key
combinations might be a little slow.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Inter Video Win DVD Question

Hey Guys & Gals,

I have found a program on my computer called Inter Video Win DVD. When I
go into my programs, I
see that there is Inter Video Win DVD, Inter Video Win DVD 2 and Inter Video
Win DVD 3. I know
absolutely nothing about this program except that it seems to play my DVD's
much better than
Windows Media Player. Could someone please tell me which of the 3 programs
I should use and also
how to turn the volume up and down in this program. Thanks for any help
that I can get on this
