Re: [Blind-Computing] System Tray Question

2010-06-05 Thread Ishe Chinyoka
AC3 Filter is a free high quality audio decoder. So you may have recently
installed a program that uses it.

It is appearing in your system tray for easier access for configuring some
settings for audio encoding or decoding of that program.

Re: [Blind-Computing] Is there a way to get a sound when I get gmail?

2010-06-05 Thread matthew

You can also use Mozilla Thunderbird and set it up as imop i believe it
is. I use that and it even gets about 99 percent of the spam emails from
gmail.

You can set this in preferences of gmail also.

Alternatively, you can just set up your pop3 email client to retrieve
mail for you from Google severs. This way, whenever a mail is
retrieved, a sound will beep on your computer. Email clients you can
use are Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express.
However, you must first configure your Gmail account using its web
interface to allow forwarding and Pop handling.

I hope this is simple. Sorry for any unintentional complexity in this

Not sure what to do as I tried googling the error number but came up empty

Not sure if the string in my search query was incorrect or just simply not
searching in the correct place.
