[Blind-Computing] M4p files
Good morning, I know the I tunes store, which my understanding is much more accessible than in the past, offers much, if not all, of their music in M4p format. The VR Stream now supports that as long as there is not a D R M overlay associated with the file. Does I tunes offer any free (public domain) M4p downloads or is all the stuff on their site simply for sale? thanks Al For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/

[Blind-Computing] A strange Word problem
Hello Cliff, This has happened to me many times in the past! I am using XP-Home and Microsoft products, Word, Excel, Access 2003. I have found if I have been working in a Folder in one of my T-Drives, and have had documents open in that folder, then open a new Word doc file and save it, it will go to the folder where I have been working. This only happens till I open a folder from My Documents then all is well again, and my new documents will be saved in My Documents The way around this is now when I have been working in a folder on one of my T-Drives, and save a new document, I type the file name using the prefix: C:\documents and settings\alan dicey\my documents\(then your file name) Of course in your case you would type your name where Alan Dicey is. Your file will then be saved in your My Documents, and after that all subsequent files will be saved there till perhaps you open a file in another folder somewhere on your machine. At least this works for me. Best Regards, Alan Miami, Florida Alan Dicey, President United States Braille Chess Association - USBCA Yes, Blind or Visually Impaired People Can, and Do, Play Chess!!! Re: [Blind-Computing] have a question regarding my laptop
Hi Julio, If you are running windows seven you might try typing wireless connection in the search box. This would bring up the wireless connection wizard. There is a place in the wizard to locate local networks, and it will take you step by step through the process of connecting. [Blind-Computing] Finding total running time for group of songs
Hi Friends, I'm using Windows XP Pro and Jaws 10 and I'm trying to put 45 minutes of songs on one side of a cassette. Is there an easy way to find out the total running time of all the songs in a folder. I know that you can use Windows Media Player and if you go through two thirds of the process of burning an audio CD you can get the total running time, but I'd like an easier way of doing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Brian For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
