[Blind-Computing] question about recording programs
I have a built-in microphone on my laptop. I want to test it to see if it works. I am thinking of volunteering for nursing homes, playing guitar for the people. I want to put together a demo cd or something. someone on here mentioned Goldwave or Audasity. Is there anyone who can give me information about these programs and where I can download them? Are they free? Which one works better with Jaws 11 and Vista? Is there anything special I need for these programs? I have never done this before on computer. I'm still back in cassette days which I don't have any more. I would like the better one that works with Jaws. thanks in advance for your help. Wayne "Love Never fails." Does anyone here use Movie Maker or know where I can get help to use it as a totally-blind person? At this stage, having managed to record with an external webcam, I am trying to learn how to cut and paste, and how to mark the exact position at which an audio or graphic file can be inserted. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Hatch.
