Install the index printer driver found on their CD and then set Duxbury
to "Send to printer" instead of "write to port" and choose the index
printer driver on the list.

that will work fine.

Hello to everyone;

I'm writing this on behalf of a friend.
She's running windows7.
My friend has obtained a Basic/d Braille printer.
Unfortunately,
There was no disc, for drivers and such.
So I did the following;
1, control panel,

2, devices and printers;
3, add printer,
Now, I chose the generic drivers,
The Braille embosser now shos up in the devices and printer.

Now, does anyone no how to set the Duxbury to add this printer?

[Blind-Computing] let me try this again: hidden album art files

2011-04-10 Thread Wayne Scott
In all of my music folders, I am told that I have album art files that I cannot
see. How do I find them and delete them and keep the mp3 files I have on here?
 I am running Jaws 11 and Windows Vista. I assume these are hidden files. Any
help would be greatly appreciated. Wayne

When in that folder, on the view menu in windows explorer, on the view
page, there's a sort of advanced set of settings, and one of them is
related to hiding/showing hidden files, etc., and the change should only
really apply to the current folder, unless you tell it to apply changes to
all folders, but I wouldn't recommend that one.

How useable is Replay a/V with Jaws 12?
I look at the demonstration version and couldn't work it out?
Do you just leave it running and it automatically spots when a streamed

a  bit lost?

  The F5 key reloads a page, but additionally Ctrl + F5 in internet explorer
  will also ignore any cacheing, and do a real/full reload of the page.

  Sighted guys would generally also use either F5, or click on a refresh
  button with the mouse.

  Stay well

Hi All;

What are the various methods for refreshing the screen when on the
Internet

for both sighted U& blind? The ways I'm familiar with for the blind are,
Insert / Jaws key + Escape & pressing the F5 key. For the sighted, I
think

this works, is pressing the applications key & clicking or pressing enter
on, refresh. I'm just curious of what other various ways the screen can
be

refreshed also, can the keystrokes I mentioned for the blind be used by a
person using a mouse? All added information will be appreciated very
much.

Thanks much, take care.
