My apologies. I was trying to figure out the problem so much that I didn't think about the subject lines. Any ideas on what might help his problem? I believe he should be able to set internet explorer as his browser. I haven't done that in a while so don't remember how to. That should fix it though it sounds like outlook express doesn't know what to open it with being he uninstalled chrome as a browser. -Original Message- From: blind-computing-boun...@jaws-users.com [mailto:blind-computing-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of David Ferrin Sent: Tuesday, April 12, 2011 4:10 PM To: blind-computing@jaws-users.com Subject: [Blind-Computing] outlook express not displaying links I figured it was time or rather long past time to change the subject line. [Blind-Computing] Laptops in different positions and situations?
Hi all, I will be in certain situations where I will be on the move or exposed to sun, but will have to use my laptop. So is it recommendable? Could it be a problem for my laptop if I use it when in a vehicle that is being driven on a bad road, so from time to time laptop would jump or move left or right on my lap? Also, is it dangerous for the laptop when the back of the lid is turn towards the sun? If it all depends on my laptop model, I have Toshiba satelite l500, 15 inch diagonal. Thanks to all in advance, and best regards! Re: [Blind-Computing] A problem with sendspace, but most likely mine;
Hello Dan and all. I believe someone said this but it sounds like it is in plain text. You can either copy the link and open it in your browser as you did or set your email to be viewwed as html. It is safer to not have it as html but as in everything it is not a need to have it that way. -Original Message- From: blind-computing-boun...@jaws-users.com [mailto:blind-computing-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Dan Mccurley Sent: Tuesday, April 12, 2011 12:22 AM To: blind-computing@jaws-users.com Subject: [Blind-Computing] A problem with sendspace, but most likely mine; As of this night, I can't enter on any links having to do with sendspace from a message in outlook express. Re: [Blind-Computing] A problem with sendspace, but most likely mine;
Hi Dan; Is this only happening with Send Space links & not any others? In options, on the Read tab, are you set to have all email set to read all messages in plain text? What you can try is, on the link, press the keystroke of, Alt, Shift, + H, or Insert / Jaws key + the F7 key, to see if either of these keystrokes will open the link. Hope this helps. Take care.
