[Blind-Computing] a send space problem.
Hi all, I want to upload some files to sendspace. I downloaded the sendspace wizard. I have a max account with send space, and I'm signed in. However, every time I try to open the wizard to set my preferences etc., it asks me to register. Do I need to do this, since I'm already signed into send space? [Blind-Computing] disk cleanup
I am using win 7 home. When using the disk clean up feature there is some information in the temporary internet files. It is checked for deletion. When cleanup is run these files are not removed. I have been looking around trying to locate that folder and can not. I have a sneaking suspicion that IDTAudio's automatic starting up when something is plugged into the input jack for recording has something to do with this problem. I took my microphone away, and now it's working easily. But it doesn't always act like this when it's plugged in! Hmm. If this sounds right, how do you make it stop doing it at startup?Any other ideas? [Blind-Computing] Trouble Using Computer Sometimes
Hi all! I'm using Windows 7 and Jaws 12. Today when I started my computer I couldn't seem to get around on the desktop or use a program from a search result in the start menu. I tried shutting it down or restarting it, but no go until someone sighted pressed a button or mouse control. Is there anything else to try, or an explanation of something that can be fixed? Thanks! Whenever I go to some of my favorite links for on line shopping, the site closes down seconds after I get that "100 percent" indication. How do I get around this difficulty? Welcome to the Blind Computing mailing list. This list has been created for the purpose of discussing any and all aspects of computing with the blind user in mind. If you have an article or message of interest which relates to the nature of this list send it to the list owner and if it is appropriate, it will be posted to the list. Additionally if you want to make an announcement about another list send it to the list owner for consideration. Do not post it to the list before obtaining approval. 6. No off-topic posts! Simply placing off topic in the subject line does not make it all right. Off-topic posts include but are not limited to discussions of Blind advocacy groups, products for the blind that are not computer-related items, Transportation for the blind, and Job opportunities or concerns. If you are not sure whether or not your topic is appropriate contact the list owner for approval before posting. 7.
