Re: [Blind-Computing] Formatting Flash Drives

This is a perplexing situation. You're right in that there should be n o
difference whatsoever between the space available on 3 identical drives.

Hi Bill,

I have scanned all the drives, all 3 are okay. Any other ways that I can
get the 1 drive to have the same available space as the other 2? Thank you
very much for your help. Take care.

First thing I'd recommend is that you run a scan on all three just to make
sure there aren't some bad areas on the drive with the lesser available
 space.

set it up for
maximum use with JAWS 12? Oh yeah, it will be coming with Office 2010. For
the past 11 years I
have been using a Compact Home, Windows XP with Office 2000, and currently
running JAWS 11. I think
I will be in for quite a few big changes. I'm hoping that you can teach an old

Thanks,

Re: [Blind-Computing] A question about a Braille 'n Speakand flying

2011-06-11 Thread Francis Khan
I used a Braille 'n Speak when I visited the USA a while back (about a year
ago) and when I was on the aircraft I did a bit of work. There was a small
audience and the people were intrigued about what the BS could do.
However, I shut it down when we were touching down in Miami.

At this point, I am looking for a machine which will work like the Braille
Speak but will also be able to send and receive messages and work with other
applications. Not a laptop computer. Any suggestions?

Hi Yvonne,
More than likely, the PS2 connector is for the mouse, and the USB is for the

Plug them into their respective ports, and you should be good to go.
