Hi Jim, It's probably just too outdated. Upgrade at least to internet explorer 7, but preferably to version eight. Re: [Blind-Computing] icons that disappear from the system tray
You can also use jaws scripts for DropBox. By using this you can get the current status of dropbox by pressing single command from desktop and yu can also open the dropboc by pressing the shortcut Character twice, which yu defined while adding the scripts. [Blind-Computing] outlook 2010
David, thanks for the link for the nk2 help. I'll check it out. I was hoping to get outlook to work without any additions! Al, control 3 does get me to the list of contacts. first i hear the heading titles, i. e. name, company name, etc. then, i down arrow and get to the names from my addressbook in OE. I have automatic name checking checked and also the auto complete in to, bcc, and cc. wonder of wonders! i just went and tried sending myself a message and the address completed itself. maybe i said the magic words! my daughter suggested doing the control k thing but i am so used to just typing two letters and having the address pop into the field that it would take some getting used to. thanks, maybe this will keep working even though i don't know what i did! karen For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/

Re: [Blind-Computing] i e 6 problem
If you cannot upgrade to a newer version of IE and the webpages you need to access do not work with ie, open them in firefox instead. If you are running win 2k still, at least firefox 3.6 and 4.0 will work on win 2k. Not sure about later versions of firefox. hth Doris At 07:28 AM 11/3/2011 -0500, you wrote: Thank you much, but in this case this just isn't an option - Original Message - From: Van Der Walt Riana rivanderw...@justice.gov.za To: blind-computing@jaws-users.com Sent: Thursday, November 03, 2011 7:12 AM Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] i e 6 problem Hi Jim, It's probably just too outdated. Re: [Blind-Computing] i e 6 problem
Yeah, I really think you are going to have to abandon ie6 at some point. If FireFox or google chrome wont work either, you may want to try WebbIe, a very basic but rather rugged web browser. It can be downloaded from http://www.webbie.org.uk/ Thanks. [Blind-Computing] Is it possible to rip and burn a CD using WMP 12 and JAWS 12?
Hi everyone, I have WMP 12, JAWS 12 and W7. I would like to know if it is possible to rip and then burn a cd using WMP 12. I am trying to burn something for a friend. I had to have help from my wife to get the cd ripped. I haven't tried to burn it yet. I wasn't sure if anyone knew how to do this using WMP 12, or if there is a tutorial somewhere covering it. If someone can help, I would appreciate it. Thanks, Allen Four out of five people think the fifth is an idiot. Re: [Blind-Computing] i e 6 problem
Hi, Jim, Your best bet would be to upgrade to IE 7 or 8 if it's possible. If you have firefox, open your sites with that. I personally like firefox better because it's so much faster than internet explorer. Hi all. I have three items in my startup that I would like to remove. However, when going to MSConfig's startup I do not see them listed. Is there another way to do this?
