Re: [Blind-Computing] question on scanning documents
When I saw the initial post on this thread I thought to myself, "Great, maybe I can get some tips on using off-the-shelf scanning applications." I was disappointed to see that OpenBook and Kurzweil were thrown back at us here. Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I do believe the original question was regarding the standard software that comes with many scanners. Chances are it's indeed Microsoft Visual Studio.Net 2010, and as far as I know, you need to make use of jaws 13, and the professional or enterprise versions of Visual Studio.Net 2010 to work efficiently/effectively, but, there are guys on the program-l, blind programmers mailing list who do already work using it: http://www.freelists.org/list/program-l Stay well Jacob Kruger Blind Biker Skype: BlindZA '...fate had broken his body, but not his spirit...' - Original Message - From: "Norman King" To: Sent: Tuesday, July 10, 2012 6:31 PM Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] Using JAWS with VS 2010 Hi.
