Re: [Blind-Computing] question on scanning documents

2012-07-10 Thread William Gallik
When I saw the initial post on this thread I thought to myself, "Great,
maybe I can get some tips on using off-the-shelf scanning applications."

I was disappointed to see that OpenBook and Kurzweil were thrown back at us
here.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I do believe the original question was
regarding the standard software that comes with many scanners.

Hi all,

I have a situation, where I continually get an I E dialog, asking whether
Yes or No to allowing activeX control to run.

I always want it to run.

Is there a setting somewhere in I E 6, where I can tell it to allow
activeX

controls to run, without asking me each time?

With thanks in advance,

Chances are it's indeed Microsoft Visual Studio.Net 2010, and as far as I
know, you need to make use of jaws 13, and the professional or enterprise
versions of Visual Studio.Net 2010 to work efficiently/effectively, but,
there are guys on the program-l, blind programmers mailing list who do
already work using it:

Mine ran our some months ago and I had a devil of a time with it being
