Re: [Blind-Computing] defragging
CCleaner will perform some of the functions of Disk Cleanup in windows. It has nothing to do with chkdsk or defragging, so you will have to do those separately. The first checks your disk for physical errors and unallocated clusters and such, and the latter...defrags. - Original Message - From: Rich Hamel rcha...@bellsouth.net To: blind-computing@jaws-users.com Sent: Sunday, January 06, 2013 3:00 PM Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] defragging If I run C Cleaner, do I still need to run disc clean and perform checkdisc?(spelling) Rich - Original Message - From: Shreyas N Reddy n.shreyas.re...@gmail.com To: blind-computing@jaws-users.com Sent: Sunday, January 06, 2013 1:35 PM Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] defragging thanks so much for the explaination On 1/6/13, JM Casey crystallo...@ca.inter.net wrote: The concept of defragmenting involves reorganising the files on your drive so they take up contiguous spaces on the disk. Hi, I had IE 8 on my old XP computer and had no problem with it. You can try E-bay with IE 8 and hopefully that will help. Interesting! I just started it, and when I went to about Internet Explorer, this is what it said. Version: 8.0.6001.18702 I just wish I knew why I was having these problems. Also, reguarding those antivirus and spyware programs, can I run them while Microsoft Security Essentials is on my machine or not? Can I keep the two on together, even if I have to delete MSE?
