Re: [Blind-Computing] thumb drives
Hi, Yes. They are the same thing. You should be able to press alt enter on the drive when in windows explorer to get the size of the drive, along with a lot of other helpful info. Re: [Blind-Computing] Unable to get online using 64 bit laptop
Yes. Most laptops do have a switch that will turn wireless on and off. I have a dell laptop that has said switch on the side. It can be a bit difficult !get a fingernail in there to turn wireless on and off, but other than that it is fairly simple. [Blind-Computing] scripts for Logger Pro with JFW 13
Hi, I don't know if anyone has ever used this program, but Logger Pro is a graphing and data entry program that I use for my chemistry lab. The scripts that are on Independence Science's website worked fine with JFW 12, but something has changed in JFW 13 and the scripts no longer work. Are there any other scripts that anyone knows of that would work with the latest build of JFW 13? Re: [Blind-Computing] Jaws saying tab, enter ect?
Hi, The only way to do that is to have JAWS say nothing when you type. To do this, go to the default JAWS Configuration Manager by pressing F 2 and then using your up and down arrows to get to Configuration Manager and pressing ENTER. Next, press ALT S to go to the set options menu. Arrow down until you hear User options (the first one in the menu). Hit ENTER om that. Now, tab over until you hear: "Typing Echo" combo box. Use the arrows to move through the combo box until ary hear "none". Thanks, Aleeha - Original Message - From: "Daleen Spalletta" Hi all Is there a way to get jaws not to say tab or enter when you press them? Thanks for any response.
