Thank you. I have a back-up set of cookies which I like to exchange for the
ones in that folder. I forgot where it was to perform the exchange. I did
press the run key and type "cookies" but I wasn't sure which cookies it
found. The back-up cookies being on a different drive than the C drive.
Thank you again. I shall save the e-mail you sent in my back-up cookies

Hi Angel,
The cookies folder is in Documents and Settings under the user name,
and is a hidden folder.
Alternatively, you can just type:
cookies
in the run dialogue, and press enter.

Hello,

First clear all the temporary files on your computer, they simply hog
memory. To do this launch the run dialog box: Windows Key + R
In the dialog box type %temp%, hit the enter key, this should open the
temporary files folder
Select all the files in this folder by pressing Control + A
Then press Shift + Delete to delete all the files
Click yes to all if prompted Do you want to delete multiple files

NOTE: Some temporary files may not be deleted as they may be in use,
ignore
them

For Internet Explorer loading slow, the temporary files and cache on the
browser might be causing this.

Follow the instructions on the below site and restart your browser:

Mr. Holland,

In Outlook Express you can imbed a sound file into an email. What that
will

do is for instance, let's say it's your birthday & I want to send you an
email for your birthday. Well, I can imbed a birthday song into the email
&
if your email client allows this, the birthday song will play when you
open

the email to read it. This isn't an attachment but imbedded. But, this
will only work if you are reading your email in HTMl. If you take 1 of
these emails with an imbedded sound & reading it in HTML & change the
setting to read in plain text, this imbedded sound will not play but, the
imbedded sound in the HTMl email now becomes an attachment in the plain
text

email. I don't know what other email clients the imbedded sound feature
will work in but, it sure is a cool feature of Outlook Express

If I have in any way screwed up the explanation of how imbedded sounds
work,

someone please straighten me & my explanation out!.
Take care.
Mike

Exactly what do you mean by "embedding files" in the first place?

If you mean inserting a file or files as attachments, certainly! You need
to use the "Insert" menu.

If you mean to have the contents of a file appear "inline" with the
remainder message, I suppose it depends on the type of file being the
source. I thought Outlook (not Outlook Express) provided an option to use
MS-Word as the tool of composition; in that case any file you can embed
into

a Word document would likewise be the same for Outlook.

You could always alter your composition tool to Outlook just for any
messages you want to do this with, then set it back as it had been
previously.

kind, forgiving, charitable, pleasant time: the only time I know of, in
the

long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open
their shut-up hearts freely, and to think of people below them as if they
really were fellow-passengers to the grave, and not another race of

I agree with you 100%. I'm sick and tired of planned obsolenscence and
products that are built to break down so that you will discard them and
buy new ones. I'm so old fashioned that I still use a vintage Western
Electric rotary telephone from the 1960's on one of my land line
extensions whose sound quality is superior to the $10 disposable
electronic crap that passes for a telephone these days. And if you thought
Windows Vista was a disaster, it looks like Windows 8 could turn out to be
an even bigger nightmare for MS. Yesterday, the MS executive who was
largely responsible for the development of Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8
announced his resignation, no doubt to get out before the you know what
hits the fan. Win 8 has received a lukewarm reception by many business
users who are apparently in no great rush to upgrade, and compatibility
problems with some older programs have been reported. So MS's strategy to
create a single operating system that will work with all devices from
desktop PC's to tablets and smart phones could backfire big time. That's
why I plan to stick with trusty old XP as long as I can.

One of my new Systemax computers does not beep and I'm wondering if

Must pass all internal test as it boots fine. Just wondering
