Re: [Blind-Computing] JAWS with Turbo C
I tried to download edSharp from the link that you gave me but my computer gives this prompt "Internet Explorer cannot download edsetup.exe from www.empowermentzone.com. The connection with the server was reset." It is stuck at 95 percenteverytime I download it and Avast I think wrongly identifies it as a threat. How can I get around this problem? And when I tried to read the installationprocess of Internet Explorer cannot download edsetup.exe from www.empowermentzone.com. The connection with the server was reset , it sounds difficult. It seems that it is not done in the way I normally do. I am afraid to mess with it because I don't really know what I am doing. Sorry if I sound so damnhere. [Blind-Computing] JAWS with Turbo C
Hi listers, I am Ije and just had my first lesson in programming. Our instructor chose turbo c as we are working with C language. However, it seems like TC is not accessible with jaws at all. Am I missing something or do I need to get some scripts for it to work? I cannot access the menus at all with JAWS 10. Does it have an equivalent shortcut key in laptop keyboard layout? On 7/30/10, Donald Marang wrote: > The Alt + NumPad Period key combination comes in handy for this. [Blind-Computing] Selecting columns and rows
Hi listers, I wonder if it is possible to actually do this with JAWS. Our instructor's direction is: "Make a table with 5 columns and 30 rows. Murge the first 10 rows in the first column. AlsoMurge column 4 and 5 from rows 4 to 15." How do I do this with JAWS 10using word 2003. Thanks For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
Re: [Blind-Computing] Using combo boxes with Jaws
Is it also just ok to press escape to close a drop down list? Also, when using firefox, even if I have closed a Combo box, it is stucked there that when I press the down or up arrow keys, it changes my original selection. I have to press the escape key again to make sure that I have exited the combo box. It is just misleading sometimes Any way to solve this?. - Original Message - From: "Jacob Kruger" To: Sent: Tuesday, July 06, 2010 3:35 AM Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] Using combo boxes with Jaws Alt + down arrow will open them, and when you then find the item you want, alt + up arrow will close them, and this a workaround in case they then trigger some or other javascript activity, otherwise it would take place as you just arrowed down within them, so it's safer, and this also sometimes works better in normal, not web based drop down boxes, in normal dialogue boxes. I would also like to know the appropriate reasons for different kinds of behavior. Or does it vary even with the versions of Jaws? Thanks and regards, Silpa.
