Re: [Blind-Computing] pload a digital book with JAWS

2012-06-16 Thread Linda Vanderlitz

David:

I, for one at least, would be most interested in such a tutorial. Anything
that explains, in simple instructions, how to download, extract and place
something on a sound card or flash drive would certainly be of help to those
of us with, unfortunately, less skill than yours.

I'm following this thread and it crosses what I call a mind that possibly an
audio tutorial might be in order covering the process of downloading,
unzipping and placing a book on an SD card. If there is an interest in such
an animal let me know and I'll put it on my to do list.

When downloading a book, you're given a list of options, as to where you'd
like that book to go.

Pick removable disk, your cartridge, in this case, and there it will go.

Hi Linda.
I usually see that message when HP has updated their software
automatically.
I suppose it might come up if you were switching tasks or something. But
it

usually is preceded by a screen asking your permission to download some
updates from HP. Their about as frequent as the ones for Windows, itself,
maybe two or three times a week.
HP does seem to stay on top of things reasonably well.
