For Lisa and others who may be concerned with knowing the status of
indicator lights on a router or modem, I can determine which lights are on,
off, or blinking with a light probe.  Independent Living aids has one for
twenty-three dollars and change.  They work well for a number of things. I
use my probe to tell me about the lights on various cooking devices such as
a rice cooker, foreman grill, and many other things. It will find lights on
those little cube shaped power supplies that plug into the wall;  the
blinking light on the victor stream;  the light on the computer speakers;
and a host of other things I can't bring to mind just now.  Just a thought.
