I am almost positive that it is only wanting you to re-verify your

It doesn't mean update to windows 7 at all. Off hand I forget but it
might

simply mean to verify your copy of windows.

 Hi, Chris,

I'm glad I decided to take everybody's advice and install service
pack 3.

Now I'm getting this dialog that says something like "thirty days to
activate windows". I'm hoping this doesn't mean upgrading to windows 7.

Re: [Blind-Computing] UTP cables, wlan and networking questions

If you want to connect two desktops, you need a cross over cable.
As I know, you don't need any program. All you have in windows. Only that
you need to do is to go to: Control panel, and to start network setup

I am passing this along from another list member,
and rather than include the entire article, you can visit the link below.

Free Screen Reading Software for Students

For children in the 21st century, using a computer is as basic as learning
to read or riding a bike. Serotek and Aroga are introducing a program that
will
put blind children on the same page with their sighted peers -- giving
them the ability to use a computer anytime, anywhere, with help from Keys

That is correct. I wish I had the exact link. It was last night that I
read it. I think it said that it will scan your system and let you know
if
you want to install it in 32 Bit mode or 64 Bit mode. Depending if your
computer has the capability then it'll download the necessary drivers
depending on which you choose. I think I read it on Microsoft's web
site.

If you purchased your Windows 7 off of them then they should be able to
tell
you exactly. I am almost sure it was Microsoft's web page where I read
this. I was reading about a lot of new features Windows 7 has.
