Listers, I have tried and tried to get Avast internet security to work on my office computer, and it just will not! Every time I install it the computer crashes! Infact, it looks like any avast program above version5 don't like my machine! When the computer crashed I couldn't even bring it up to windows. I had to get my brother to go in to safe mode and use the uninstall tool for avast in order to get things working again. My brother don't know this, but my computer is stuck again. I installed the free version5 which is what I've been using but, I thought it would be good to up date the program, I suppose it up dated it to version6? In any case the computer is now waiting for my brother to go to safe mode and fix it again. Listers, does anybody have any ideas what's going on here? Or maybe, you know! What's going on here? Okay, I'm here listening. Re: [Blind-Computing] Big problem with avat antivirus.
Why don't you just uninstall Avast and switch to a more accessible anti-virus program like Microsoft Security Essentials?
