[Blind-Computing] Braille printer
Good morning all; I'm wondering if someone could be so kind to send me some instructions on how to install paper on a basic-d Braille printer. How to set the printer to print. Do I simply install the paper, And then go to Duxbury open or create new file, then translate, and then emboss? Or, do I need to start the print by using a button on the printer. In advance thanks. Re: [Blind-Computing] Braille printer
If you're using Duxbury, you should be able to just load the paper in the printer, and then control printing from the program itself. Make sure your settings within Duxbury match your paper type. - Original Message - From: david davidwhitehead1...@cogeco.ca To: blind-computing@jaws-users.com Sent: Tuesday, August 21, 2012 7:40 AM Subject: [Blind-Computing] Braille printer Good morning all; I'm wondering if someone could be so kind to send me some instructions on how to install paper on a basic-d Braille printer. [Blind-Computing] braille printer connected on a network
Good morning listers, I have a versapoint single sided embosser which works via a parallel port. When connected to a computer, all works fine. I have tried to connect this printer via a print server and the port is recognized. using duxbury for dos, I am unable to print when connected on the network. the lpt port maps and the brfout command in duxbury simply completes with no output. Has anyone had experience with this issue? thanks rick software developer Paul Ecke Ranch mailto:rwat...@eckeranch.com www.Ecke.com Tel.
