Re: [Blind-Computing] Duxbury Braille Translation
Before you translate at the begining of the doc you can use alt plus1 for grade one and alt plus 2 for grade two. not the numbers on the num pad. hth - Original Message - From: "Russell J. Re: [Blind-Computing] Duxbury Braille Translation
Hello Pedro: First of all, you must be in the Duxbury program and working on a file that you want to emboss. To use grade 1 braille you need to press alt plus 1 on the keyboard and when you wish to get back to grade 2 braille you press alt plus 2 on the keyboard. If you need to write computer braille you press alt plus 3 and after you have done this you revert to grade 2 braille to do your other work. When you have finished the document and saved it, it is now time to braille the file and you press control plus t to translate the file into braille and to emboss the file you type control plus e which will cause the embosser to do its work. I hope this helps your friend. Re: [Blind-Computing] Duxbury Braille Translation
Let me see if I can help. Once the document is in duxbury, you must translate the the file by pressing CTRL T, there it is in braille but if it isn't in grade two, please proceed by pressing alt key followed by the number 2. The 2 I am referencing is under the function keys. Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing.
