[Blind-Computing] Netbook power management
Hi people, I'm running XP on my Asus netbook. I'm not sure what I did, but whenever I have the netbook plugged in, the fan runs constantly and the AC adapter gets very warm. I need to know how to correct this, and I also need to know what is optimal as far as power management settings go. Hi, I have an Asus netbook that won't play YouTube or online music files. It plays the first second or so of the file and then stops. It does not come back. I have checked to see if JavaScript is on and it is. Can someone please help? Thanks, Aleeha For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/

I just found a Podcast on a Asus Netbook Computer. It is an older model but I am quite impressed with their sound quality. It sounds really good. If anyway want to check it out, here is the link. The new ones come with the 10 inch screen. Make sure it has that. The ones with the smaller screens are cheaper. http://www.blindcooltech.com/ rogelio.terra...@gmail.com For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/

Re: [Blind-Computing] Netbook computers and Jaws
From what I have noticed on mine so far, my netbook beeing an asus eee pc 1000h, only issue is sometimes with how it reads things on the screen. Of corse, the display settings are a bit weird on this one as it's screen is a bit smaller than say the sampsung but it's really not anything I have had to worry about. I have read that it has issues with the display beeing set as it's default of right below 1024/768 but it's only acted odd a few times and it's only when I maximize things like in notepad. Other than that, they are wonderful computers and jaws works beautifully. - Original Message - From: "Don Risavy, Jr." To: "Blind Computing" Sent: Tuesday, May 26, 2009 9:50 PM Subject: [Blind-Computing] Netbook computers and Jaws Wondered which netbook computers work the best with Jaws?
