Hi, How can this be resolved with EQ settings? I'd love to check it out also. We have a laptop that crackles when we turn on wireless networking. To reoslve the issue, we just don't use wireless on the Dell 1505 laptop. Was there a patch for the Sound Blaster issue? Been away for a long while. I hope to start checking on this list more often. After going round and round with tech support installing and uninstalling then installing different version of the Realtek sound driver on my supposed to be one of the higher end Toshiba, I finally gave up and just returned the thing. I'm still a bit sad about it cause the specs was really great on that laptop--well, all except the sound chip I guess. I went in stead to have Dell customize a system for me. It is more than twice the cost of the Toshiba but at least I'm getting a Blue-ray read write drive and a quad-core and a good sound chip which is the SoundBlaster XFI.
