As for the part with cutting out a portion of a track, yvonne, MP3DirectCut
would do it, or there are also audio editors like Goldwave or Audacity; then
you can save the piece in whatever format your cell phone supports and set
it there as a ringtone.

Again Yvonne you are not separating out the two parts of what you want to
do.

I do not know Express Burn so someone else will have to advise on that.

Nor do I understand what you are saying about extracting part of a file. You
didn't mention if this was Express Burn?

hi larry
there is something that willcut a portion of a track words and be able to
save them as a name for example ride like the wind then i can use bluetooth
or perhaps connect the mobile to the computer and send it as a business card
come text message to my inbox then open the text message and save as a
business card or something like that then move it to where the ring tones
are on my phone then i can select the tune and assign it as a ring tone as
for burning software i am using express burn and express rip although
express rip is playing up i have the free version but it keeps telling me
the period has expired and i have to upgrade don't want to do this as the
paid for version does nothing more that i need than the free one.
any idea where i can download express rip without being asked to upgrade?
thank you

Yvonne

You start talking about cd then intermingle about ring tones, you must
keep

the two items separate.

With regard to burning an audio cd - what software are you using to do
your

cd's?

With regard to ringtons I've no idea.
