Re: [Blind-Computing] Looking for Tutorials and Magazines
Hi Ishe, Thanks for the website. I was actually there yesterday, which is how I found the excellent tutorials on Word Perfect. The author of the site is also responsible for the Talking Directory program, which I've heard alot about and finally downloaded to try either today or tomorrow. I'll check around the other parts of the site and see what I can find. Hi Eleni A good place to learn about these DOS stuff and other classical programs is at: http://www.empowermentzone.com Simply go to this guy's web page and you will find lots of old and ancient literature on computers lumped on one page. You can download tutorials, books and papers on WordPerfect, Word 5, Windows 3 etc. from the appropriate section. [Blind-Computing] Looking for Tutorials
Hi Folks, I'm looking for any video tutorials that one can access for free on how to use computers using the mouse and keyboards. Basically, an introduction to computers and how to work with them. My brother and I have a client who is completely new to computers, and, add to that the fact that she isn't all that quick on the uptake, makes for a very interesting tutoring session, I'll tell ya'. Smile. Suffice it to say, I'm looking for something she can watch while we're not there on how to click on items, and how to use the keyboard and the like. Any help would, of course, be appreciated. I should note that she uses Windows XP Home edition, and Zoom Text 9, with the latest build. Thanks again for any help you all can provide.
