Re: [Blind-Computing] screen is showing upside down
Many years ago this happened to my computer running JAWS 7 and Windows xp. If I remember correctly, it was a video intercept problem and I had FS work with the IT Technician at work to resolve it. Good luck. hello there; do you see; intel graphics media accelerator driver in you're system tray? if so, enter on it, now you need to arrow until you hear, graphics options sub menu, right arrow to open. now look for rotation, sub menu, right arrow to open, make sure that, normal is checked. note you can also turn off the hotkeys, which will prevent this from happening again. hope this helps. - Original Message - From: G.Braille g.brai...@sympatico.ca To: blind-computing@jaws-users.com Sent: Sunday, December 19, 2010 8:37 AM Subject: [Blind-Computing] screen is showing upside down Season greeting! my screen is showing upside down. You may not need to close jaws. You can simply hit the pass through keystroke of insert plus 3 on the number row. Re: [Blind-Computing] screen is showing upside down
If one doesn't have the intel graphics media accelerator in the system tray, where does it reside otherwise? Every once in a while the screen somehow goes cockeyed, so it good to know this, because it's hard to remember the hotkey to fix things. Thanks.
