Re: [Blind-Computing] Annoying problem with gmail
ah, ok then. I've used gmail for years and don't often have issues with it. occasionally though the server is down or something but that might happen a couple times a year. mind you, I dread the day should come when I couldn't use outlook express to read mail. I find it so difficult and frustrating reading gmail from the web page. not that I cant do it, it's just more convenient to read mail in OE. *smiles* Elaine - Original Message - From: "rosemarie chavarria" To: Sent: Tuesday, June 16, 2009 7:25 AM Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] Annoying problem with gmail Hi, Elaine The problem isn't with my gmail account. hi Deanne thanks for that, it turned out to be nothing that would have shown up on their web page. not that good at explaining where this item is, but it wasn't an obvious one. or not to me any way. *smiles* Elaine - Original Message - From: "Deanne" To: Sent: Monday, June 15, 2009 9:02 PM Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] Annoying problem with gmail If you go to gmail.com and sign in to your gmail account, you will find a link on the settings page labeled Forwarding and POP/IMAP. hi Rogelio looks like I've solved my gmail problem. I went through all my settings and found one item. I'm not sure how this item got changed but when I changed it all of a sudden I didn't get the log on screen when sending mail. if anyone wants to know what the solution was, I'd attempt to explain. I'm not that good at it lol. thanks to those who replied though.
